Amara Hare

About Me

Hi, my name is Amara Hare, I am a senior at James Clemens High School. Overall, I am passionate about people knowing who they are, having self-confidence, and being the best person they can be. This is why after high school, I plan to study clinical psychology and that is why I’m currently treasurer of the nonprofit, Godesteem. This nonprofit aims to help young people see themselves the way God sees them, and why I am president of the black student union, a club for students to be proud of their culture and background, and why I have my own fashion styling business to help style others in outfits unique to them inspiring them to be confident and kind to themselves. In helping people with self-confidence, I hold myself to a high standard to be the person I desire to be. Academically I maintain good grades, my GPA is currently 4.2, and at school, I am a member of student ambassadors and an actor in advanced theater production. Outside of school, I am often involved in ministry as a youth leader, praise team member, and Sunday school teacher at One in Christ International, a nondenominational church. I aspire to live like Jesus in everything I do therefore, I put exceptional effort into all my activities.
