A team member's thoughts on last week.

This week we were introduced to a wealth of knowledge. We began by meeting with Herb Hayes, who emphasized the importance of building your brand—how you want people to perceive you. This concept was highlighted through "your products," which include your knowledge, skills, imagination, and talents. Following this, we met with Lee Shaw, who taught us how to properly write a thank you card. As a bonus, she explained that communication involves not just speaking in front of people but also how you present yourself to the public. We ended the week with a meeting with Transcend, where we learned about their office management as a small business and the factors that make their employees feel seen and heard.
